The Tech Support Group in the School of Computing and Information Sciences provides technical and user support for the SCIS community.
Assist manager with equipment purchases including product evaluations, price comparisons, and obtaining quotes. Document equipment arrivals and receive in PantherSoft. Update and track inventory for equipment purchases and prepare surplus documents for obsolete equipment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining various documents and spreadsheets, printing posters, assisting with event preparations and responding to user requests and problem tickets. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Photoshop is helpful.
Keep excel spreadsheets updated; keep equipment inventory updated and audit annually; work in PantherSoft to manage equipment and purchases; use DesignJet plotter to generate posters for students and events; move equipment and supplies to needed locations; communicate via email and online ticketing system to keep users updated.
